Today I thought I would show you a present I made for my dear sweet friend Karen.
I started with batting.....and cut out a heart....
I did a simple whip stitch all around the edge......
Then I stuffed the heart....
Then I dumped my lace and doilies on the floor.....
...and then I started wrapping the stuffed heart with all my different kinds of laces and trims.....
....don't forget the buttons.....(front)
(Back)
. .....and finally the BLING!!!!!
I think she will love it.....(fingers crossed)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN :):)
I hope you all have wonderful Valentines day!!!

It probably sounds silly and obvious, but just looking how you dumped all the pieces of lace and embellishments on the floor is just what I needed to finally start a project that was frustrating. I'm making shabby scarves to sell and I had the base scarf figured out. But getting the embellishments in the "right" order was daunting. Not anymore.
I also saw your quilted art bag and love it. I have the basic idea for shabby chic/recovered fabric bags bit you have carried it to the top of the lone! Grat work. You inspire me.
Well, seeing you do it makes it look so easy! I know I could do that and have a ton of fun doing it. Very pretty heart and very updated with the bling. She'll love it.
Sweeeeet
That is absolutley stunning.
Sandra-
I have been trying to reach you by email regarding your prize from the Boost My Blog Party. May I borrow a few pictures from your blog for my gift (you'll see). Either stop by Everyday Ruralty, or email me and let me know if I may do this.
