I have been sewing up a storm, and made several things... first up this quilted bag. I made it out of Mary Engelbert fabric.
I did a simple quilt stitch.
...and I put a magnetic closure on it!!
.....inside. This is my take every where bag. When ever I go sewing out of my house..this baby is loaded to the top!!
I also put together a quilted cover on one of my art journals. Gotta love Kaffe Fasset fabric!!
... and I have been stitching paper.. for making art journal books. With these and many other kinds of papers I will be binding my own journal.
Here is a close up!! Well, I am off to keep sewing!!
The quilties are ALL here...I will be taking pictures and trading them out this weekend. I will ship on Monday!!

nice to see your projects-so pretty! i have been wanting for sometime to learn how to stitch paper on the machine but haven't had much success and unable to find directions. i know the machine probably needs adjusting and a different needle maybe. something you might think of posting about? directions for how to do it. have a good weekend, blessings.
A superb pop of colour in your fab bag, I could have used a Sew-on-the-Go bag while on holiday. I took a plastic tote instead and inevitably had it jammed in by my feet. How can a family go camping and come back with more than they left with??? Sheesh!
